Within this performance piece, I am exploring my experience of Covid-19. the work looks at how the social restrictions of lockdown influence self-isolation and juxtaposing performance in social settings. Through these restrictions, we have placed more value on the limited activities we can perform, most regularly shopping and exercise. My work is inspired by the Woolworths shopping bags, Bags for Good, that have become a core part of our routine in self-isolation. The top is designed to be formal and old fashioned and explore the resurgence of 'dressing up' for the supermarket.
